This is on virtualmin-3.84-gpl
We have one client account that setup an autoreply, it worked except that it came from postmaster@ instead of user@. I manually edited the autoreply.x.txt file in the users /homes directory which fixed the issue.
My question, where did the "from postmaster@" come from? Is there something else I need to edit for this user to prevent this is the future. Other test accounts on this domain worked fine.
Thanks!

Was this user the domain owner, or just an additional mailbox in the domain?
One possible way this could happen is if the domain owner's primary email address domain@domain.com was disabled, but the postmaster@ alias was still pointing to him, causing Virtualmin to think the postmaster address was his primary.

I don't think the primary mailbox was disabled but this person was/in an alias for postmaster@ on the account.
