Cannot access websites [#17819]

I am able to ping IPs but cannot access sites from outside on my server.

This happenned after I updated the server to 5.6 this morning.

need help desperately.

It looks like the Apache NSS module had been enabled during that update, which was causing some problems with Apache. I disabled the module and restarted Apache, things should be working for you now.

There's apparently a bug in RedHat's mod_nss package that causes the issue you ran into:
