I just noticed that the ${DISABLED_WHY} variable is not working anymore.

In what situation are you trying to refer to this - a pre or post change script, email template, or something else?
From looking at the Virtualmin code, it is still being set OK.

I had an account that was auto-disabled for being over bandwidth and that variable wasn't being set even though the reason was.

Are you using the variable in an email, or in a post-change script?
