I recently moved a server running Virtualmin Pro and Ubuntu 8.04 to a new server running Virtualmin Pro and Ubuntu 10.04 using Virtualmin's Backup/Restore feature.
Top-level servers with email forwarding configured for the administrator account had email disabled for this account after restore. All other email settings (regular users, admins set to store locally, aliases) were restored properly.
The old server is still accessible, so I was able to confirm that forwarding was configured properly for these accounts when the backups were created.

Thanks for pointing this out - the cause was actually pretty complex to find, but it will be fixed in Virtualmin 3.85.
