When I turn off machine with status "ping failed" I get message for example
Shutting down ubuntu.cloudmin.isshou.cz ..
.. system has been successfully shut down.
but the left Cloudmin panel is not refreshed. There is still status "ping failed" and links to shut down or reboot the machine. Click on "refresh status" fix this. When machine has been turned off from SSH status it refreshes the left panel too.

Should be an easy fix ...
Did you shut it down using the Shutdown System link on the left menu, or via the button on the "Cloudmin Managed Systems" page?

Link in the left menu.

Odd, I can't re-produce this ..
Was the system a virtual machine, or real? If virtual, was it using KVM or Xen?

It is virtual KVM machine. I attached a picture - the machine was running and "Alive". Then I selected from left menu "Shutdown System" and system went down (and is really down) but the status changed to "ping failed".
The case that happend before was running KVM machine on another IP adresses than Cloudmin thinks so it was "ping failed" and running. But the result was the same after shut down.

Ok, I see why .. the "ping failed" state means that Cloudmin thinks the VM is still running (the kvm process is alive), but it doesn't respond to pings. I will add code to make the shutdown process more robust in this case.
