These are appearing in the mail logs:
milter-reject: END-OF-MESSAGE from localhost[127.0.0.1]: 4.7.1 Service unavailable - try again later;
And also in mail queue a list of local delvery email, but when clicked on the message
"the message is no longer in queue"
Iit looks like this is related to this?

I noticed this recently myself - it happens due to messages being put in a mail queue directory called
maildrop
that Webmin doesn't yet properly scan.This will be fixed in Webmin 1.540.
Is there a fix in the mean time?
I dont seem to be getting any internal messaging - for example logwatch reports arent coming through.

The Webmin fix is for the ability to view the mail queue entry ...
As for the underlying cause of the problem, does turning off DKIM help?
Yes, switching off DKIM has resulted in all internal emails in the queue being delivered successfully.

Ok, you are seeing a bug in the way Virtualmin sets up DKIM - this will be fixed in the 3.84 release.
