Hi
I have 2 VPS systems which webserver crashes after about two weeks.
I remember reading similar events with other users.
in the log I see:
Oct 17 04:02:02 remigius syslogd 1.4.1: restart.
Oct 17 04:02:13 remigius logrotate: ALERT exited abnormally with [1]
After but not always immediately the Apache will crash and 1 apache process will hang.
After I kill the 1 process, Apache will boot again.
Both VPS's run in PV
Do you have any ideas why this is happening?
Thank you

Not off the top of my head, sorry ..
Is the system perhaps low on RAM?
Not really, one is using 366MB of the available 640MB, the other has 512MB
The difference between the 2 and others are that they have been build from the image centos 5.4 with gpl version.
Others were build from base OS
They all run in PV

You might have to ask some xen-specific experts about this. I haven't seen this kind of error myself .. or heard anyone else report it.
