Hello,
I've a new issue : I had to reboot my Cloudmin server, and on of the 2 VMs is not reachable via Graphical Console.
I get this message :
VNC has been configured on this system by Cloudmin, but the VNC server on port 5904 on host system jupiter.copytrans.net is not accessible. If it was just enabled, the system will need to be rebooted before VNC is available
Any clues ?

Now the other one isn't available either :
VNC has been configured on this system by Cloudmin, but the VNC server on port 5902 on host system jupiter.copytrans.net is not accessible. If it was just enabled, the system will need to be rebooted before VNC is available.
Do I need to open ports on the KVM host ?

Yes, you will need to open ports 5900 on up on the KVM host. The number of ports above 5900 is based on the number of KVM instances you are hosting .. so I would recommend going up to 6000 just to be sure.

Hi.
Opened ports (on both host and VMs : is it necessary ?) , but no luck... :(
And, if it's the problem, why dit it work BEFORE ?

Plus : created a new VM for test : graph console works. No error message. But still the same error message for the 2 others...
Rather strange.

Hi !
Apparently, this was caused by the fact that the service "libvirtd" was started on the host.
chkconfig off, rebooted, and graphical console accessible again.
Nothing to do with firewall.

That's odd, I wouldn't have expected libvirtd to interfere with VNC console access.
Anyway, you don't need to run it - Cloudmin runs the kvm commands itself directly, so doesn't need to use libvirt.
