Hi there,
I've tried all possible user settings or extra admin settings to create a user that can only see the AWStats log files.
The only way I was able to do it was via the "extra admin" mechanism and check the 'can configure server features' box. But that gives him access to the website configuration too. It's very important that I can give access to stats file for several websites, without giving them access to the server configuration.
How can I do this?
Thanks
Best Regards
MD

You may be better off not creating a special login for this at all. Instead, the AWstats report can be access at http://yourdomain.com/awstats/awstats.pl . By default this is password-protected and only the domain owner .. however, you can add another login at Services -> Configure Website -> Files awstats.pl -> Access Control -> Edit users.

Thanks, creating the awstats user gives me exactly what I wanted.
