Post installation incorrectly recognizes whether mysql root password is set

On my box, mysql was installed before virtualmin and a mysql root password was already set. The virtualmin post-installation wizard told me that no root password was set, and prompted me to enter a password. when entering a password and going to the next step, I got the message DBI connect failed : Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

I fixed it by removing the mysql root password manually and trying again.

Thanks for pointing this out - the wizard should really check that MySQL is accessible before trying to change the password. I will fix this in the 3.81 Virtualmin release.
