If the backup destination is /mnt/xen-backups/%m-%d-%Y is fails with the following error....
Failed : Failed to create TAR file of filesystem : sh: /mnt/xen-backups/09-01-2010/sip.icgllc.us.tar.gz: No such file or directory
It fails to create the new directories.

That's odd, it should create those directories when needed.
Are you backing up to a local directory, or remotely via FTP or SSH?

Setting says... Directory on system ... which I used the master machine.
Also there is no "backup in background" option. It's either backup on schedule or now and you have to wait for it to complete in the browser.

Ok, I think I see what is going wrong here .. it looks like a Cloudmin bug. Looking into the fix now..

The "work-around" till then is to pre-create all the directories for the next couple of months.

Ok, this will be fixed in Cloudmin 4.8. Let me know if you'd like a pre-release version, and if so in which format (RPM or Deb).
