Not sure if I have this in the correct section, but I have just noticed that accessing the webmin/virtualmin console on port 10000 does not seem to work via the external IP. Mind you the system does allow access to all the hosted websites which leads me to believe that it is an issue with Apache and it only appears to have happened recently. Any Ideas guys?

Make sure you don't have a firewall on the host blocking port 10000, or a firewall on some router or NAT device that is blocking (or not forwarding) it.

That is really odd, it has been working all along then it stopped for a few hours and now it's fine again. I just don't get it.
