It sounds like your email client is saying it can't connect to Dovecot's POP port for some reason. You might want to try restarting Dovecot by logging into your server over SSH, and running this command:
/etc/init.d/dovecot restart
Then try connecting again.

I'm unsure how to do this. In the past I have given the login to our virtual server and you have been able to help me that way. Can you send an Email to the address you have on file and I will send you the details. Thanks.

Hi Rich! While we do try to be helpful, the thing to remember is that the Support Tracker here, and remote login service, is typically reserved for Virtualmin Pro customers... it looks like you have a GPL installation there.
However, now would be a great time to teach you how to login to your server using SSH! :-)
Alternatively, it should also be possible to resolve that via the GUI.
To handle it via the GUI, login to Virtualmin, click "System Information" -- and in the "Status" section of the screen, look for where it mentions something about "Dovecot". Then, click the "Restart" icon next to Dovecot.
That should do the same thing as the steps I initially mentioned above.
However, to log into your server over SSH, if you're using Windows on your desktop, you can use a tool such as Putty to perform logins.
You can download Putty here:
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/
Putty allows you to access the command line of your Linux server... you can then login as any user that has a shell account setup. You'd use "root" if you want to perform system administration tasks.

Thanks. Issue now corrected. For some reason the Dovecot server was down.
