After purchasing a renewal for our Virtualmin license, will it automatically be updated on your servers, or is there any manual process that must be done? Also, how long should we expect it to take before it is updated?
At http://www.virtualmin.com/serial it still does not reflect our renewal, as does the "Re-check License Status" option on virtualmin running on our server.

It looks like your payment is still pending with paypal, waiting for an eCheck to clear.
Once that clears, it will be applied. However, since that can take a couple of days I have extended your licence by 1 month so that you don't keep on getting warnings in Virtualmin. Once it clears, you should get the full 1 year extension.

Thanks for the help Jamie. I discovered that an eCheck was sent instead of an Instant Payment after I finished the transaction. Apparently, I needed to update the credit card expiration date on file with PayPal. I emailed your sales department about this based on PayPal's advice, but I guess this will take care of it for now.
As I've said in the past, too bad most software vendors aren't as in touch with their customers as you guys are.

Same question, but http://www.virtualmin.com/serial shows that I've purchased the new license and I still get the notice inside Virtualmin that my old license will expire in 4 days. Is there somewhere that I need to plug my new license number into Virtualmin, or will it automatically update?
Here's to many years of License upgrades!
Best Regards, Andrew
Hey Andrew, it looks like you've purchased a new license rather than a renewal. I'll refund the difference (a renewal is much cheaper than a new license) and convert your purchase into a renewal. With renewals you don't have to change license keys, it just extends the expiry on your license.
BTW-In the future, open a new ticket for any new issue. It's hard to keep up with who's got what problem when a ticket gets re-used for new problems.

Thanks, Joe! I really appreciate the help. I'll start a new ticket next time I need help.
