I have just found out on a few servers that if clients are using usermin to send emails with attachments the receiver never gets them. I have tested this myself and in gmail I can see the attachments but thunderbird and outlook do not.

Are you using Usermin 1.410 there? Because an issue just like this was fixed in the 1.420 release..

1.410 but apt doesn't have any updates for usermin -- have you made a deb repo release ?

We haven't rolled it out to the Virtualmin repos yet - it will be a couple more days. However, you can just download and install the .deb file from http://www.webmin.com/udownload.html .
