Hello.
We recently had an issue with Pop vs IMAP so we disable IMAP in the Doveqot mail server. (Wanted all users using POP instead of IMAP). Then we had an issue, so we re-enabled IMAP and all was well . We did notice webmail users needed to connect to their pop mailbox and then it worked fine.
Last weekend we applied Virtualmin updates and all seemed to be fine. We did not check wembmail functionality. We have recieved reports from uses that webmail is not working. Lou Feliz, posted information in Forum about this and has not had a reply.
It appears that this is something witht he configuration as he also tried installing Squirell mail via he installer and it too is not able to login. Please help or direct us as to what additional information is require to get webmail via usermin workign again.
Thanks.

What specifically is the problem? Are you getting errors? Is there anything relevant in the maillog when you attempt to connect?

When a user logs into webmail using Usermin i.e domain.com:20000 they are not able to access the inbox. The connection is disconnected. User can see othe folders, just not the inbox. I have looked at the maillog and see no errors. Look at post in Usermin forum posted by loufeliz yesterday. He is my tech who initially installed Virtualmin.
Email is working as outlook is able to pull email using POP without any problem.

So when you say you can't see the inbox, do you get an error message, or does it just appear empty?
If you could provide a link to the forum post, that would be great ..

User Logs in to user min and then is prompted to login with a screen titled
POP3 server login You must enter a username and password to access mail in your inbox on the mail server localhost.
User enters credentials
Screen returns ERROR Connection Closed
User is logged in to USermin and can see contents ofsent mail folders, but when clicks on Inbox, once again prompted with POP3 Login

Is there a specific configuration file I can send you to examine?

I believe this is a bug in the currently 1.410 release of Usermin. However, you can install the 1.418 development version to fix it .. the command for this is :
rpm -U http://download.webmin.com/devel/rpm/usermin-1.418-1.noarch.rpm
Let us know how that goes.
