When I have been trying to see what remaining IPs are available (due to VMs being deleted out of the pattern of assignment), the only way I can seem to do so is see which IPs from the start of the range do not respond to ICMP with an echo. A way to display the pool of IP addresses would be excellent.

Perhaps you could have it so a subnet is assigned to an entire physical machine as opposed to a "host machine", so one does not have to assign the same subnet to two host machines which are essentially the same physical machine. This could even make IP pooling easier (though, that's only a guess, you'd know better than I).
