Module proftpd does not exist with a subserver, I just went to delete it to move it to a main server position and I got this error message.
Just to let you know I have had issues with proftpd from the start, it does not stay running, I have never figured out why as it just says in the log that it is shutting down.
I have to restart it through webmin as it will not restart through virtualmin system information page.
.. ProFTPd virtual FTP failed! : Module proftpd does not exist at ../web-lib-funcs.pl line 1315. Just got this when deleting the subserver.

Wow, it looks like a Webmin module has gone missing .. was it perhaps deleted?
Try going to Webmin -> Servers and looking for the "ProFTPd Server" module. If it isn't there, try under Webmin -> Un-used Modules.

Not good .. it sounds like the ProFTPd module may have been manually deleted, or perhaps access to it taken away.
What happens if you open https://yourvirtualminsystem:10000/proftpd/ in your browser?

Ok, that explains it. I suggest simply re-installing the Webmin package, with the commands :
wget http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/webadmin/webmin/1.480/webmin-1....
rpm -U --force webmin-1.480-1.noarch.rpm

OK got it also had to reinstall proftp server!
Works perfectly now :)
