Due to migration from a legacy system, our username and the primary email account are not the same. The primary email account goes in as an additional email address. This works fine if the client is using Outlook to send email, but not so well if they use Usermin. They end up with their username as the email address in the 'From:' which does not match their business card! Is there a module we can obtain that would allow the user to control the outgoing email address?

The simplest way to do this is for users to configure their own preferred From address. Login to Usermin, and go to the Address Book -> Add a new address entry, with the correct email and real name, and the 'From address?' column set to 'Yes, default'.
This address will then be used when sending email..

Jaime, once again you are my hero. Your usermin interface has now met all of the criteria we had set for a webmail client. That part of our server migration checklist is completed! I can now move the bulk of our end-users from the old redhat server to our new ubuntu/virtualmin server. Yer makin me a hero!
I posted some code in the forum to keep secondary mx servers userlists in sync with the primary. I have received no backscatter since I implimented it. My email system is almost complete. I just need to get the DCC antispam working from the spamd daemon. It works when tested from the command line against a message downloaded from the dcc website for testing purposes. That will make the whole email system finished.
