Some of the installer scripts (eg. vtigercrm) won't work with UNIX tar.
scripts-lib.pl should use probably use gtar as default. Or provide some config options.

Good suggestion .. Virtualmin will use gtar for backups and restores where possible, but I forgot to use it for extracting scripts. I'll fix this in the next release.
