Hi Joe,
I just found out that SpamAssassin no longer scans incomming mail when mailbox is allmost full. How much space(mb) do SpamAssassin require so it don't stop working. Shouldn't there be some kind of warning mail that SpamAssassin no longer is active.
I have spent hours trying to figure out why SpaAssassin stoped workin on a customer account, after checkin that all settings was ok I increased his mailbox from 25mb to 50mb (used space was 23mb) becauce I thought this was the problem, restarted postfix, still the same problem! SpamAssassin no longer scans mails.... hours later it suddenly worked again! To verify that this was the cause I set up a test account(25mb) sent a mail from a account that I temporarily blacklisted and mail was delivered to spam folder, Then I decreased the mailbox size to 3mb and sent a mail(not an account in blacklist) with a attached file of 2,5mb. Then sent a mail from the blacklisted account and it was delivered to inbox, and was NOT scanned by SpamAssasin. SpamAssassin no longer scans this account.
Ok, I deleted all mails in the account, restored the mailbox size to 25mb and again tried to send a mail from the blacklisted account, still no scan by SpamAssassin. So HOW do I get SpamAssasin to scan this account again when this happends, what should I restart/reset? If this happens again to a customer account I would like to know how I get SpamAssasin to be active again instanly, not so nice to tell a customer, "just be paitient.... it will somehow start up again, in the near future or so... "
And as I said earlier, would be nice with a warning that SpamAssassin no longer is working.
Regards,
Leif
