It'd probably be nice to display a small icon or letter in the virtual servers list page beside each domain to indicate whether it is hosted locally or a proxy domain (we've also had several requests for a 302 redirect domain type). Possibly clicking it would allow editing whether it is a proxy/redirect/local domain.
