Disable Slider permanently

How many times we disable the slider in the Authentic Theme settings - all useless! It comes back every time. Ilia, can you please make the theme to respect user settings and if the Slider was disabled to never show it up?

By slider you mean right panel?

How come it comes back to you?? If you set it to disable, when and how it gets re-enabled?

Well, I do usually go to Notification Slider options and set Enable Slider to No, save it and the Slider is hidden. But then I don't know what exactly happens after a while the slider is back again. Do you think the theme update overrides settings in /etc/webmin/authentic-theme/settings.js ?

I don't think it's possible. Theme obviously doesn't do it.

Next time it happens, please try to figure out the logic behind it.

I will try to reproduce it on my systems.

There were changes to the code since 18.49-9. Let's assume this is solved from 19.00+
