Hello,
A minor issue to report here. In Cloudmin 9.2 (Authentic Theme 18.48): when we click on the "Open Webmin" link for a VM on the left panel - it initially links to the following URL:
This results in a DNS error and states the site cannot be reached. Due to our setup here, we can't do anything about this. That said, if I click the link again (sometimes 2-3 more times before it works), it links here:
http://hostname.domain:10000/servers/link.cgi/123456789012345/
This link always works. Is there a configuration element that can be changed that forces Cloudmin always to use the second working link?
Thank you,
-Chad

There should be two links on the left - "Open Webmin" which uses the path that includes
link.cgi
, and "Link to Webmin" which goes direct to the server's URL.Hi Jamie,
Thanks for the feedback! That's what I thought to, as I always use the "Open Webmin" link. However, it seems that even the "Open Webmin" link attempts to direct to the servers URL (sporadically). It's not a huge issue, as the link always works by the 2nd or 3rd try, it just struck me as bizarre.

That's unusual, unless maybe the remote webmin server is doing a redirect? I can't see any other way that the same link would behave differently.
It's not a huge problem, and doesn't happen all the time. It is something we can deal with for the time being. Thanks for the feedback, we appreciate it! Feel free to close this issue (mark it resolved).
