Being notified by virtualmin that my virtualmin license had expired, I purchased a new one. However, it tells me that:
Virtualmin 10 Annual License (vm10) No associated license. $60.00 1 $60.00
And virtualmin still tells me my license is still expired.
This is confusing.
At least clean up the messages so people don't think they're getting ripped off.

This seems to have resolved after I executed
virtualmin change-licence --serial xxx --key yyy
.Even so, it would be nice to have a friendlier message than "No associated license."

You got the command exactly right, that's what you'd want to run.
Due to limitations in the billing system, the message you're seeing in the order, "No associated license", always shows up after the first order, unfortunately.
That's not related to what's applied to your server -- that's just a message that can be seen in the initial order.
However, it'll show your correct license number in every subsequent invoice.
I'll make sure Joe knows about that in case he's come up with a way to handle that though!
We're glad to hear things are working for you though, feel free to let us know if you have any additional questions.
