it appears that no one can pop or imap to server - keep getting bad username/password. It is happening on ALL my domains. I have restored again, same issue - please help.

Were these domains restored from a different system, which was running a different linux distribution or version?

Also, what username format were they using previously?
If the username format was changed from the default on the old sytstem, you'd want to change the new system to match.
You can do that in System Settings -> Server Templates -> Default -> Mail for Domain -- though note that after changing that, you'd have to perform the restores again, it doesn't affect existing domains.
