Proftps doesnt lock to home dir even if you select it so under Servers -> proftpd -> files and directories -> Home directory

When I select Servers -> proftpd -> files and directories -> Home directory and go to that folder I am still able to browse folders higher up, meaning I am NOT locked to a specific folder.

In the config of proftpd I had to manually change "# DefaultRoot ~" and remove the #.

In Virtualmin, try instead going to Limits and Validation -> FTP Directory Restrictions to set this up.
