Hello, I am having issues with proftp. When trying to start i get the following error.
Job for proftpd.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status proftpd.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.
Please advise asap as we are in a time-crunch to update files for client. Thank you.

update: I was able to start the service by commenting the lines 435 / 436 "# SFTPHostKey /etc/ssh/ssh_host_rsa_key" "# SFTPHostKey /etc/ssh/ssh_host_dsa_key" but still cannot connect...

Howdy -- what error are you receiving when trying to connect?
One thing we can do is verify that ProFTPd is indeed listening. What is the output of this command:

Well i just fixed it. had to uninstall proftp and reinstall via yum - not sure what was hosed but all seems ok now. thanks!
