Create alias server generates bind zone with incorrect IP, and mx record when no email

Virtual centos 7 with several ip addresses assigned.

I have an existing domain exam.com with unique ip, working fine. I create an alias domain in vm, e.g. exam.co.uk with options dns records and apache website (and template set to create a permanent redirect) IP address shows as the same as the parent domain (solely assigned to that domain): 1:2:3:4 External IP address at default (same as external)

Result: the apache site is created with Ip as parent the bind records do not match and are created with the global default shared ip address of the server, i.e. 1:2:3:10 Expectation: the bind records to match those of the parent ip.

Workaround: Specify the correct ip in the External address field.

This seems like a bug to me as it is not expected behaviour, but maybe I am not interpreting correctly, or the labell

In addition: Even though I have specified alias with 'accept email for domain' unchecked an mx record is created - doesn't make sense.
