PHP issue

Hello,

I have an issue setting up some apache alias (for ex alias /phpmyadmin /home/machinename/public_html/phpmyadmin).

When I call www.domainename.com/phpmyadmin, the php is not parsed so I see the php code - When I call machinename/phpmyadmin everything is fine.

I do not understand why the php is not parsed when called from outside its home directory. I've been looking arround but I do not see anything wrong.
