Option "Quotas and limits" does not appear when create or edit a virtual server

Hello, I have a lot using the GPL version and now on a new server with the pro version the option "Quotas and limits" does not appear when you create or edit a virtual server. The quotas were not active and I not could activate, apparently because did not exist "/dev/root". I have created a link and now I have been able to activate the quotas. It seems to work but there is not the option to add quota for servers.

What could it be? Thank you.

Status:
Active

I changed the symbolic link because I think I had wrong. Now there is the option but does not work. Also I can't enable quotas from "webmin / system / disk quotas".

Any ideas?

Howdy -- what is the output of these commands:

cat /etc/fstab
mount

Also, what output do you receive when attempting to enable quotas in Webmin?

And lastly, what output do you receive if you go into System Settings -> Re-Check Config?

Thanks!

cat /etc/fstab

Nothing. The page reload but all is the same.

System Settings -> Re-Check Config

The status of your system is being checked to ensure that all enabled features are available, that the mail server is properly configured, and that quotas are active ..

Your system has 31.38 GB of memory, which is at or above the Virtualmin recommended minimum of 256 MB.

BIND DNS server is installed, and the system is configured to use it.

Mail server Postfix is installed and configured.

Postfix is configured to support per-domain outgoing IP addresses.

    Apache is installed.

The following PHP versions are available : 5.6.22 (/usr/bin/php5-cgi)

    Webalizer is installed.

Apache is configured to host SSL websites.

    MySQL is installed and running.

    ProFTPD is installed.

    Logrotate is installed.

SpamAssassin and Procmail are installed and configured for use.

ClamAV is installed and assumed to be running.

The System and Server Status module is installed and checking on schedule.

Plugin DAV Login is installed OK.

Plugin AWstats reporting is installed OK.

    Plugin Mailman is installed OK.

Plugin Protected web directories is installed OK.

Using network interface eth0 for virtual IPs.

IPv6 addresses are available, using interface eth0.

Default IPv4 address for virtual servers is x.x.x.x.

Default IPv6 address for virtual servers is xxx.

Default IP address is set to x.x.x.x, but the detected external address is actually x.x.x.x. This is typically the result of being behind a NAT firewall, and should be corrected on the module configuration page.

Quotas are not enabled on the filesystem / which contains home directories under /home and email files under /home. Quota editing has been disabled.

All commands needed to create and restore backups are installed.

Resource limits are supported and configured correctly.

The selected package management and update systems are installed OK.

.. your system is ready for use by Virtualmin.

And if it help, the error when I type "quota". (I have removed the symbolic link that I created).

Cannot stat() mounted device /dev/root: No existe el fichero o el directorio

Okay, it looks like the mount options appear to be set correctly.

Try creating that symlink with this command:

ln -s /dev/md2 /dev/root

Do quotas work properly after that?

By doing this I can turn quotas on, but the "Quotas and Limits" option again not appear. Also, When I create the symlink, disappear in "Disk and Network Filesystems" a partition (/ (Root filesystem) New Linux Native Filesystem (ext4) /dev/root):

With the symlink there, can you try re-running System Settings -> Re-Check Config? It may give us some more detail on what the issue is.

Oh, after re-check appear: "Both user and group quotas are enabled for home and email directories." And quotas seem to be working...

Thank you very much!

That's excellent, glad to hear it!
