cannot login to mail server, says its disabled but vmin shows its running

I get this message:

"You cannot log in to mail.remnantmedianetwork.com because the server has disabled login. You may need to connect via SSL or TLS. Please check the account settings for your mail server."

I also cannot login with my username and password as shown in virtualmin.

This is a restored backup from another system.
