When a new Virtualmin installation happens, with Authentic as the default theme, the setup wizard doesn't immediately show up, I guess because of the way Authentic handles stuff. You have to click around a little bit, and then the wizard shows up. It's confusing.
So, it may be that Authentic needs to be aware of the setup wizard (there is a variable set after the wizard has run) so that it doesn't load up other stuff in the right frame until after wizard has run or has been dismissed by the user.

I will take a look and try to enroll it in upcoming 17.40.
P.S. Joe, I accidentally saw this issue. I don't get emails for some reason ( before I got too many and now none :D )

I think I figured out why you aren't receiving notifications for these issues. I created a new test issue, let me know if you receive an email for that one!
Joe, it's fixed in 17.40. On the fresh install the user will be taken to the wizard.
Please upgrade.

Hi there,
I'm experiencing this issue on a fresh install of Virtualmin 1.791, Debian 8.3. As the original poster says, if you click around a bit it will appear. In my case I changed the tab to Virtualmin and then clicked List Virtual Servers, this triggered the wizard for me.
After first install do you get to Virtualmin tab automatically?

I don't, the first tab is the Webmin tab, and actually I've noticed this for a number of other systems lately, new theme defaulting to Webmin instead of Virtualmin.
I will double check and fix it on the next release.
I see the source of the problem. Will be fixed in 17.80.
Thanks for reporting!! ;)
Please upgrade 17.80 is out!
