Yesterday, on December 3, 2015 the PHP development team announced the immediate availability of PHP 7.0.0: http://php.net/archive/2015.php#id2015-12-03-1 So many cool things are coming to the hosting industry with PHP 7.0.0, in particular performance gains for various PHP applications, CMSs are really impressive.
Some vendors have already started to offer services based on PHP 7 and I am worried how far behind we, Virtualmin community, will fall from the frontrunners. I wonder when we should expect PHP 7 instructions to appear on https://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/web/multiplephp?
Please consider this as a feature request. Thanks!

Howdy -- Jamie has been working on this. PHP7 support will be included in the next Virtualmin release.

It's hard to say for certain (it was supposed to be a few weeks ago actually) -- it's currently waiting on some website changes that Joe is finishing up. It should be soon though!

As soon as Joe finishes up the new site, the new Virtualmin version will be going out. I don't have an exact day, but we expect it to be soon!

#14 and 15 are not correct as the issue has not been fixed yet. No activity doesn't mean the issue is fixed.
Fixed with the release of Virtualmin 5.0 (there are some minor bugs for some distros and versions, but in the general case it is working).
