For Wordpress, there is an option provided in the admin panel to auto upgrade to the current version. However, this results in a "disconnect" (disagreement) of version numbers in Virtualmin with the actual installation.
I'd like to have an ability to somehow synchronize the two.
Perhaps something that could examine the current installation and fix itself. It might even be able to "call back" to Virtualmin HQ to get an update, etc.
This type of feature would be especially good for rapidly changing applications/scripts such as Wordpress and Joomla. They often come out with items for security fixes, etc.
It would have a good effect of reducing the need for quicker releases from Virtualmin as well.
