Remote API Issue

I know I have asked something similar to this before but, how hard would it be to add an option to the Remote API so that when creating or doing anything that would restart apache, you could specify an option to not apply configuration so that you could essentially run several commands in a row directly from a webpage on the same server and then restart gracefully after all commands have been completed.
