WSOD when a virtual server is created in Apache mod_php mode

We've configured Virtualmin to create virtual servers in Apache mod_php mode. Strange enough that after a virtual server is created it shows WSOD in browser. However, switching the "PHP script execution mode" option to FCGId mode starts showing the website correctly. Switching back to "Apache mod_php" shows website normally. But we really can not be switching to FCGId to only switch back to Apache mod_php constantly.

If it is relevant Apache listens to port 8080 on this server. And the /var/log/httpd/error_log is outputting the following lines during creation of a virtual server:

Howdy -- it sounds like you're saying that you get a white screen when using mod_php, but switching to FCGID and then back to mod_php corrects the issue?

What error shows up in the Apache error logs for the domain, located in /home/username/logs/error_log?

Also, does the same issue occur using different web content?

For example, what if you just add a test.php file, containing the following content:

<?php phpinfo(); ?>

Do you see the same issue with that?

The /home/username/logs/error_log file is empty, otherwise I would post its content with initial report. That's why I had to go for /var/log/httpd/error_log. Further findings about the issue is that it gives completely scattered page for phpMymyAdmin or any other script to be created in Apache mod_php mode. Switching to FCGID and back to mod_php fixes it. For example, I tried to install RoundCube in Apache mod_php mode just to see this in browser:

Just installed Drupal 8 website to get:

handle($request) // Handle the response object. ->prepare($request)->send(); $kernel->terminate($request, $response); } catch (HttpExceptionInterface $e) { $response = new Response($e->getMessage(), $e->getStatusCode()); $response->prepare($request)->send(); } catch (Exception $e) { $message = 'If you have just changed code (for example deployed a new module or moved an existing one) read http://drupal.org/documentation/rebuild'; if (Settings::get('rebuild_access', FALSE)) { $rebuild_path = $GLOBALS['base_url'] . '/rebuild.php'; $message .= " or run the rebuild script"; } // Set the response code manually. Otherwise, this response will default to a // 200. http_response_code(500); print $message; throw $e; }

Switching to "FCGId" and then back to "mod_php" fixes the error.
