Template settings not honored

Hi,

create a new cloned-template from Default Settings. Make it "Initially selected template for top-level servers"
Change setting like Bandwidth limit to 100 GB every 30 days.
Create a new virtual server, the bandwidth limit is unlimited. If you change the bandwidth limit in the "Default Settings" template instead, to lets say 1GB, a new virtual servers default at creation time will list 1GB bandwidth limit.

I expect that everything from the new inititally selected template should be used, no? Or is the current behaviour the desired one?
