I didn't realize until after I bought the Pro license that I would encounter such issues getting drupal caching to work. As a drupal theme and application developer it is very important to my future business goals to be able to host a product that actually works as intended.
So, my question is: Are there any simple work around methods which you can offer for me to get ANY kind of caching to work with drupal.
If this problem has been resolved and I just haven't found the solution in searches I am sorry.
If there is no fix would it be possible for you to refund my Pro license and downgrade to GPL since the product just wouldn't be useful for my primarily drupal based business?
Thanks, Lee

Howdy -- sorry that you're having problems with Drupal!
While Virtualmin Pro can indeed perform a Drupal installation, it doesn't actually perform any other configuration within Drupal.
However, it does perform a standard install, so the steps to getting caching in Drupal working when it's been installed by Virtualmin should be the same as if it were installed manually, outside of Virtualmin.
What kind of problems with caching are you running into?
And are you seeing any errors in the error logs in $HOME/logs/error_log?

Sorry, my issue is fixed now by adding options +SymLinksIfOwnerMatch to .htaccess
Life is good!

I should have elaborated that this was a move from cpanel to Virtualmin. I initially used cpanel Addon domains full site backup then Virtualmins migration script but it did not work the way I wanted.
I ended up just copying cpanel individual application and db backups to a directory on Virtualmin machine, creating accounts and decompressing the contents into virtual root. After importing the databases and testing the url I got text only displays.
suexec rocks!

We're glad to hear you got it working!
I did want to mention that if you find any issues in your migration to Virtualmin that end up preventing it from working for you, we'd certainly provide you with a refund.
However, we also hope that we'd be able to work with you to resolve them.
Sounds like it's going well so far! Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions.
