I would like to have something like this for a client jörg@domain.com
when I send an email to this adress eg from gmail I got this message back immediately
Technical details of permanent failure: local-part of envelope contains utf8 but remote server did not offer SMTPUTF8
Any Ideas?
Btw I installed a german locale before and set the locale as default for it.
env | grep LANG LANG=de_DE.UTF-8
i tried this http://www.postfix.org/SMTPUTF8_README.html#enabling
but it says unused parameter: smtputf8_enable=yes
I think it is some kind of work in progress and they throw it out again.

As far as I know, this isn't possible - the SMTP protocol doesn't support non-ASCII characters.

thank you,
I think they dropped it. At least the feature for postfix is gone.
