You may want to try changing your PHP Execution Mode to "CGI" to see if it gives you a better error messages... you may be seeing a problem with the application, a missing dependency, a compatibility problem with the app, or the like.
We're not able to reproduce a problem with FCGID on Debian 7, it should work well. Switching to CGI may make it more clear as to what's going on.
We'd be happy to work with you regarding what you're seeing there, but the best place to do that would be over in the Forums. Start up a new Forum thread, and let us know what errors you see in the Apache logs after switching the mode to CGI. Thanks!

Howdy -- yup! Virtualmin does support all versions of Debian 7. We haven't heard of any reports of problems.
