Virtualmin startup failed (IPv6 related)

Anyone please let me know how to start webmin(virtualmin) server in a IPv6-disabled server. When I tried to start it I got an error message as follows:

[root@srv ~]# service webmin restart

Is it possible to start server in this condition, or do I have to enable IPv6 again? Any information/instruction will be much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,

When you disabled IPv6 did you apply the settings by restarting "networking"?

Try, "/etc/init.d/network restart", then "/etc/init.d/webmin start"

Ask me about my new support plans which include a FREE copy of Virtualmin Pro!!!

Try removing the ipv6=1 line from /etc/webmin/miniserv.conf , and then starting Webmin.

Thank you for your reply. It worked!
