I have three servers runing Virtualmin with multiple domains each. Email works great for all servers. However, only issue I have is with one server when someone sets up Gmail to retrieve /send mail. They can receive email fine but when you go to setup Gmail to send using their mail server it will never connect (I tried port 25, 587 and 465). Outlook and even other webmail clients work fine it's just Gmail, and only on this one server. I have tested this for multiple domains on the server as well and same issue. Below are some maillog entries...
lost connection after UNKNOWN from mail-pd0-f170.google.com[209.85.192.170]
Jan 12 21:38:16 web04 postfix/smtpd[13126]: disconnect from mail-pd0-f170.google.com[209.85.192.170]
Been working on this for days and can't find a solution. Thanks

Howdy -- hmm, that's an unusual problem you're seeing there!
After doing some Googling on that issue, I'm not quite sure what might be causing it at the moment. It may help to get more log output though.
However, it appears you're using Virtualmin GPL there. If you're using Virtualmin GPL, you'd want to use the Forums for support. We monitor the Forums, along with lots of wonderful folks in the community!
Here's what I'm thinking -- try having Gmail send email via all 3 ports -- 25, 465, and 587. And after each one, note the specific log entries that occur while Gmail is attempting to connect on that port.
Also, note any errors that Gmail provides on it's end as well.
Then, post a new Forum thread, and include all those messages in that Forum thread, and we'll see if that helps us sort out what's going on. Thanks!
