Missing mysql tables in virtualmin

hi there.

After resetting the mysql root password, we lost the list of databases when we start mysql.

Starting mysqld_safe with the skip-grant-table option restored the list.

Wondering if u have a way for us to reset the mysql root password such that we can start mysqld and still read our database list.
