Protected Directories should be added to existing htaccess

Currently adding a protected directory via VM only works when there is no existing .htaccess file. Removing the protection also removes the .htaccess. If you are temporarily protecting a directory that has it's own htaccess (e.g. Joomla!, etc.), this needs some manual work. Of course each admin should be able to do it, but not every vhost owner needs to have this ability.

I would appreciate if VM would add, resp. remove the needed configuration lines to / from existing .htaccess files.
