Domain XXXXXX is not valid!

have a domain that is now in virtualmin call "13651612517542" after thinking it was a hack I found out one of my ups had died and after the reboot and that this new domain pop up have try to remove it keep getting this

Domain 13651612517542 is not valid!

How do I remove this domain

Howdy -- it sounds like you're seeing a domain ID.

Something may have happened that caused Virtualmin to mistakenly create that.

If you would like to delete it, what you can do is log into your server as root over SSH, and 'cd' into the directory "/etc/webmin/virtual-server/domains".

In there, you will see all the various domain ID's on your server.

Look for a file with the name of the domain ID you're seeing in Virtualmin. Once you see the file, go ahead and delete it.

Thanks for the quick reply

(this is more for you FAQ ) so in this folder ("/etc/webmin/virtual-server/domains".) I had found the file with the same XXXX domain name, funny this file looks like a bad

  1. I closed off virtualmin
  2. cd to "/etc/webmin/virtual-server/domains".
  3. and move the file out and reopen.

all fixed now .....
