Hi Jamie,
Yesterday I posted an issue I was having with creating the alias server not working with Nginx, but for some reason that post has disappeared. I wanted to update that I did get it working but I had to go to Edit Alias Server > Enabled Features > Nginx website, and enable it.
(Picture attached)
Can you advise how to have "Mail for domain enabled" disabled by default, and have the "Nginx website" enabled by default, when the alias servers are created?

For an alias server, the features that are enabled by default are just copied from the target virtual server.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. I want to create a virtual server, domain.com, that will also create an alias at hosting.com. (domain.com.hosting.com). Wouldn't my hosting.com already have nginx enabled, otherwise it wouldn't be able to serve pages? I also have nginx server enabled by default under System Settings > Features and Plugins.
For me to get the alias domain to work, I had to manually enable it from the edit alias server.
What I would like is to have no mail enabled and nginx enabled by default for alias server (instead of mail enabled and nginx disabled). what module controls the alias server features, and can I hardcode it in the config, or script it to change the config on server creation?
Thanks

Oh right, I addressed this on your other ticket. This is a bug, which will be fixed in the next Virtualmin release.
