mod_fcgid: can't apply process slot for /home/psea/fcgi-bin/php5.fcgi

I wished to increase the Maximum PHP script run time that by default was at 300 seconds via Server Configuration > Website Options. I change the 300 to 600 and clicked Save.

After that my website would not work and the error log shows this:

mod_fcgid: can't apply process slot for /home/psea/fcgi-bin/php5.fcgi

I tried changing it back to 300 and save but nothing is working.. I did get the website to work by clicking - CCGI wrapper 9run as virtual server owner) instead of the FCGld ( run as virtual server owner), which is where it was and where I hope I can get it back to.

Any suggestion to fix the error and give me more run time is greatly appreciated.

Howdy -- is there a noticeable difference in speed when using CGI rather than FCGID?

Sometimes, CGI does indeed work better, and if you don't notice any speed issues, there's nothing wrong with continuing to use CGI.
