How can I have a hostname be a FQDN and not just a subdomain for a bind record on a node? Presently it defaults to xyz.cloudmin.something.com.
Thanks.

You can change the hostname of a VM after creation using Webmin running on the VM.
Alternately, there is an option you can enable in Cloudmin to allow the hostname to be set on the VM creation form. This can be found at System Settings -> Cloudmin Configuration -> User interface settings -> Show Unix hostname field on creation form.

Well I tried using --unix-hostname on the CLI API and get "This system type does not support setting the Unix hostname" for openvz. It also forces the use of --host even if --unix-hostname is given.

Thanks for pointing this out - I'm not sure why we didn't allow that for OpenVZ. I will fix that in the next release.
