System Settings -> Re-Check Configuration messes with /etc/procmailrc

Running System Settings -> Re-Check Configuration will add the following block to /etc/procmailrc if it does not exist: :0 $DEFAULT

This causes all existing procmail scripts in user home directories to stop working.

The least Re-Check Configuration should do here is to inform about this operation in its output (which it does not ATM).

But from my understanding, Re-Check Configuration in fact is meant to merely check the current system configuration and report any problems it detects, but not modify the system configuration without any further confirmation by the user.

Good point, that page shouldn't reset this setting. I'll fix that in the next release.

You can fix this on your system by going to Email Messages -> Spam and Virus Scanning and changing "Allow mailbox users to create mail filters?" to "Yes".
